How do you remove Efcolor enamel?

Generally, the only way to remove enamel 'overspill' is to stone back the enamel using alundum stones and/or Diagrit. This will file back the surface so that a flush finish can be created with the enamel. However if this will be used on engraving, you will have to be extremely careful not to stone the surface back too far, as you may lose some of the definition of the engraving.

Once stoned back, the metal surrounding the enamel will need re-finishing. The enamel may have a matt surface at this point and should be re-fired to achieve a smooth, flush finish.
